Frames
Here is an introduction to our framing services and style of frames currently available.
Our bespoke mounting and framing service is undertaken exclusively by Kendal Picture Framers of Branthwaite Brow, Kendal. Please note when ordering that framed orders take approximately 1 week to produce, and stretched canvas prints up to 10 days to allow for varnish drying prior to stretching.

Frames are made to order, and will normally take around one week to build, plus a couple of days extra for delivery by our secure courier service. Consignments will require a signature upon receipt, so please bear this in mind when ordering frames. Canvas prints take a little longer, see below.
We currently offer two styles of frame; firstly a distressed oak laminate frame which compliments the colours found in most of our images very well.
Secondly, we have a classic black which works with pretty much everything, but especially black and white images.
And finally, we offer all our prints as a stretched canvas option. For this we use Xativa 340gsm Artistic canvas which we find to be excellent for stretching with superb colour rendition and longevity. All our canvas prints are varnished for protection and longevity before being stretched over a custom made wooden frame. Canvas prints generally have white border/walls in order to retain most of the original image in view, but if you'd like your image to wrap around the frame, please let us know and we'll check the suitability of the image for you. Please note that due to extra work involved in canvas print production, they take slightly longer to produce than framed prints.
